Dynamic Instructional design is a
planning model for educational technology instruction. DID consist of five steps to planning and
designing an meaningful learning experience. According to an article from the
U.S. Department of Education “when carefully designed and thoughtfully
applied, technology has the potential to accelerate, amplify, and expand the
impact of powerful principles of learning” (Introduction
n.d.)
It is very important to have Plan in
place when teaching with technology to ensure that the content being learned is
expressed in the technology being used. Otherwise students can get distracted.
Using the Dynamic Instructional Design model will aid teachers in planning an
optimal learning experience as well as discovering
what works and what doesn’t, thus informing and educating the teacher as well.
